Backtests, simulations and walk-forward tests have inherent limits. They are built with the benefit of hindsight, carry no financial risk, and may not fully reflect spreads, commissions, slippage, liquidity or execution delays. Models can be overfit to past data.

Visuals labelled "Illustrative" or "Simulated" on this website are examples, not measured results. No account is likely to achieve results identical to any backtest.

• Volatility: prices can move sharply and quickly.
• Leverage: magnifies both gains and losses.
• Liquidity: markets can become thin, especially around news and outside main sessions.
• Slippage and gaps: fills can differ from expected prices, and stop orders may fill at worse levels.
• Regime change: a strategy that worked in past conditions can stop working.

Our strategies run on software and networks. Technology can fail or behave unexpectedly:

• Latency: delays between a signal, the order and the fill can change the price achieved.
• Outages: hosting, broker servers, the MT5 platform or market data feeds can be unavailable.
• Connectivity: internet, server or broker connections, including FIX and API sessions, can drop.
• Software defects: bugs in our engine, third-party platforms or their updates can cause missed, duplicated or incorrect orders.
• Mirroring differences: a mirrored account can receive different prices, fills or position sizes from the master strategy account because of timing, account size, leverage, symbol specifications and broker conditions.

We monitor our systems, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Latency and telemetry figures shown as illustrative on this website are not measured benchmarks.

QUANT-FX LTD never holds, custodies, manages or withdraws client funds. Funds sit in each end client's own account at their own regulated broker, and trades are mirrored into that account by our engine.

The broker, not QuantFX, holds client money and executes orders. If a broker becomes insolvent, suspends trading, changes its terms or restricts an account, the consequences are governed by the broker's terms and by the protections, if any, available in the broker's jurisdiction. Choose and review your broker carefully.

The performance shown on this website comes from QuantFX's own master strategy account on MT5. It is proof of the engine. It is not client money, and it is not a return earned by any client or investor.

The account runs in a broker demo (practical) environment with live market pricing and the same execution as live accounts, as described by the broker. Its balances are not withdrawable. Results on a live account can differ, for example in fills, slippage, requotes and available liquidity.
